
In a recent development that has stirred the legal community, the Kerala High Court has issued a stern warning to police officers over the alleged brutal manhandling of a 37-year-old lawyer, who is also a heart patient. The incident is said to have taken place as the lawyer was making his way home after attending a function. Presenting the case, the lawyer’s counsel highlighted the potential life-threatening implications of the incident, stating,
“The petitioner is a heart patient, and the brutal manhandling by the police could have endangered his life.”
