Kerala: The Kerala High Court was put on high alert on Tuesday after it received a bomb threat via e-mail. The mail claimed that RDX had been placed inside the court premises.
As soon as the message was received, the authorities acted quickly. The entire court premises were thoroughly searched by the police and a dog squad. However, after the inspection, nothing dangerous or suspicious was found.
According to sources, the police “opined that the threat could be a hoax”, meaning it might have been a false alarm. Still, they took every precaution to ensure the safety of everyone in the area.

Despite the bomb scare, “the Court hearings have not been disrupted“, and the functioning of the vacation benches continued smoothly.
The authorities are investigating the source of the email and taking steps to ensure such incidents do not happen again. The security of the court remains a top priority.
Similarly, The Gauhati High Court received a bomb threat via email on Tuesday (22nd April) morning, creating a brief moment of tension. However, after a thorough investigation by the police, it is believed that the threat may have been a hoax.

According to the police, the high court received an email claiming that a bomb blast would take place inside the building. Immediately after receiving this alert, a police team was sent to the high court to check the premises.
“We have immediately rushed a team to the high court after getting the threat message. Our experts are checking every corner of the premises, and nothing has been found so far. We believe it is a hoax,”
a senior police officer told Media.
The officer also mentioned that further clarity would only come once the entire search and sanitisation operation is completed.
“He said the details will be known only after the search operation is over.”
Meanwhile, a senior official from the high court said that the threatening email came from an unknown group calling itself the ‘Madras Tigers’. The message claimed they would blow up the whole building.
“Police have come and they are carrying out a search operation. They have brought different equipment to sanitise the building,” the court official added.
Despite the threat, the functioning of the court has not been affected. Judges are continuing to hear cases as per the regular schedule.
“The official said the threat has not hampered the functioning of the court, and judges are hearing cases as scheduled.”
Police teams with bomb detection and disposal equipment thoroughly searched the premises. As of now, no explosives or suspicious materials have been found. Authorities are treating the incident seriously and are investigating the source of the email.
Recently, a bomb threat was reported at the Dwarka Court complex in Delhi. As a precautionary measure,
“आज बम की धमकी मिलने के कारण सभी एमएम कोर्ट को तुरंत खाली करा दिया गया है!” — all MM (Metropolitan Magistrate) Courts were immediately evacuated to ensure the safety of the public, court officials, and legal professionals.
Security forces, including bomb disposal squads and local police units, swiftly reached the court premises and began a detailed search operation.
“पुलिस बल और बम निरोधक दस्ते फिलहाल मौके पर हैं और स्थिति की पूरी तत्परता से जांच कर रहे हैं!” Authorities are thoroughly checking every corner of the premises with high alertness and complete seriousness.
The administration has requested people to remain calm and not to visit the area until further notice.
“हम सभी से शांत रहने, सुरक्षित रहने और अधिकारियों द्वारा आगे की जानकारी दिए जाने तक परिसर में न जाने का आग्रह करते हैं!” This advisory was issued in the interest of public safety, and law enforcement teams are doing everything possible to manage the situation responsibly.

“आपकी सुरक्षा हमारी सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है!” Your safety remains the highest priority for the authorities. All efforts are being made to ensure that no threat remains and normal operations can resume only after complete assurance.

“सतर्क रहें! सुरक्षित रहें!” urging everyone to stay alert and stay safe during this tense period.
