The guest house, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 12.42 crore, is designed to provide lodging and boarding facilities for visiting judges from the Supreme Court, various High Courts, and the High Court of J&K and Ladakh.
It will also accommodate judicial officers from different states visiting the Union Territory of Ladakh.
In his address, Chief Justice Rabstan expressed his gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor and the officers of the UT Administration for their “unwavering cooperation and support” in the development of judicial infrastructure in both Leh and Kargil districts.
