Himachal Pradesh High Court launches the Chief Justice Disaster Relief Fund 2025, calling it “Not Just a Request for Assistance, But a Call of Conscience” to provide urgent help for victims of devastating rains and landslides across the State.

The State of Himachal Pradesh is facing one of its worst natural tragedies in recent years. Heavy rains, cloudbursts, and landslides have destroyed homes, displaced families, and shattered livelihoods.
Many districts are struggling with loss, despair, and destruction, and the State needs urgent support.

Acting on these directions, Hon’ble the Chief Justice has now set up a special relief fund.

The circular also requested all Secretaries of District Legal Services Authorities to locate suitable spots in their districts for relief distribution, with the help of Para Legal Volunteers and panel lawyers.
