Lawyers, litigants, and court staff were immediately asked to leave the building as a precautionary measure.

In a notice circulated by the Bombay Bar Association, members and their staff were urged to vacate the High Court premises due to security concerns. The notice, signed by Naushad Engineer, Hon. Secretary, highlighted the urgent need for safety and vigilance.

Security personnel swiftly cordoned off the area, and bomb detection and disposal squads were deployed to conduct thorough checks. Court hearings were suspended as authorities carried out detailed security operations to ensure the safety of everyone present.
This incident comes just hours after a similar scare in Delhi High Court, where proceedings were abruptly halted following a bomb threat sent via email. While authorities in Mumbai have not yet issued an official statement, precautionary measures are being strictly enforced, and further updates are awaited.
