Aaradhya Bachchan Moves Delhi High Court Again After Fake Content Not Removed – Google, YouTube in Trouble!

NEW DELHI: Aaradhya Bachchan, the daughter of Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has again gone to the Delhi High Court, asking for the removal of false and misleading news about her health from different websites.

She has filed this new petition because, earlier, the Delhi High Court had ordered search engine giant Google, an entertainment social media account named Bollywood Times, and other websites to take down certain content that she had mentioned in her previous petition.

Today, during the hearing, the high court sent a notice to Google after receiving the fresh petition from Aaradhya Bachchan, who is the 13-year-old granddaughter of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

Earlier, on April 20, 2023, the high court had instructed YouTube to immediately delete fake videos that wrongly claimed things about Aaradhya Bachchan’s health.

In her earlier petition, she had pointed out that some YouTube videos were spreading false news, making it seem like she was seriously ill.

Some of those videos even falsely stated that she was no more, which was completely untrue.

The high court had strongly said that every person, whether they are a celebrity or not, has the right to live with dignity, especially regarding their physical and mental health.

Aaradhya Bachchan had to file this second petition because some websites and social media platforms did not follow the court’s earlier order.

The next hearing for this case is scheduled for March 17.
