Today, On 8th May, After the Supreme Court granted relief, Wikipedia filed an application in the Delhi High Court to withdraw its appeal against ANI. The High Court accepted the request and allowed the withdrawal of the appeal.

The judgment came in a case involving news agency ANI. The Court also criticized Wikipedia for lacking neutrality in its article about ANI, stating that encyclopaedias are expected to remain unbiased. The platform was directed to comply with the takedown order.
New Delhi – Justice Navin Chawla of the Delhi High Court on Monday (7th April) recused himself from hearing an appeal filed by the Wikimedia Foundation, which runs Wikipedia, against a single-judge order that directed it to remove defamatory content related to Asian News International (ANI) from its platform.

The Delhi High Court,on Thursday(14th Nov) led by Justice Subramonium Prasad, issued summons to users accused of making defamatory edits on the ANI Wikipedia page. Following a consent order with ANI, Wikipedia agreed to serve summons confidentially without revealing user identities. The next hearing is scheduled for December 16.
