HC Chief Justice Launches Financial Assistance Scheme for District Judiciary Employees

On May 22nd, Madras High Court Chief Justice SV Gangapurwala launched “Chief Justice Relief Fund for district judiciary employees” benefiting 21,000 employees. This subscription-based scheme requires monthly payments of Rs 100 for 3 years, increasing to Rs 200 in 2027. It offers retirement benefits of Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh and compensates families in case of accidents or untimely death.
