NEW DELHI: On Wednesday(22nd Jan), the Delhi High Court granted interim bail to Kuldeep Singh Sengar, a former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA and convicted in the Unnao rape case, so that he could undergo cataract surgery.
RG Kar Rape-Murder: Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in a high-profile case, Today (Jan 18) declared guilty by Additional District and Sessions Judge Anirban Das. The verdict was announced in a secured courtroom, supported by key evidence, including the victim’s blood on Roy’s belongings and items linking him to the crime scene. The judgment marks a critical milestone in delivering justice.
A Sealdah court in Kolkata will announce its judgment today (Jan 18) in the shocking rape and murder case of a 31-year-old trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College in August last year.
