Today, On 8th August, Wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, challenging the legitimacy of the Wrestling Federation of India’s December elections, alleging interference in Olympic decisions. The court is yet to deliver a verdict despite urgency due to national interest. The WFI’s suspension and subsequent developments have also been outlined.
