The Union Minister for Women and Child Development highlighted the implementation of legal provisions and criticized the state government for not utilizing available resources for women’s safety.
Yesterday, On 12th June, The Calcutta High Court has ordered the deployment of central forces in West Bengal until June 21 to address post-election violence concerns. The state government must provide a report on measures taken by June 14. The court emphasized cooperation between state police and central forces and scheduled a next hearing for June 18. BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari welcomed the order.
