The Gujarat High Court Advocates’ Association (GHCAA) Today (Feb 17) demanded the transfer of Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal following disagreements over sudden roster changes. A unanimous resolution was passed after rising tensions with senior lawyers.
New Delhi, January 21, 2025 – Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya will be sworn in as the new Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court today. The ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM at Raj Niwas, Civil Lines, Delhi. It will be attended by key government officials, sitting judges, legal professionals, and other dignitaries.
Justice Arvind Singh Chandel, recently transferred to the Patna High Court, took the oath as a judge in a ceremony attended by dignitaries.
