The Bombay High Court ordered Patanjali to deposit Rs 50 lakh for violating a trademark infringement injunction. The case, initiated by Mangalam Organics, pertains to the sale of camphor products. Patanjali admitted to breaching the order and vowed to comply. The next hearing is scheduled for July 19.
The Delhi High Court cited the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita in a trademark infringement case involving the ‘SURYA’ mark. KG Marketing’s lawsuit was dismissed and the company was prohibited from using the ‘SURYA GOLD’ mark, after admitting to fabricating newspapers in court proceedings. Defendants were also instructed to file a complaint for forgery.
Today(on 2nd May),Tesla Inc. has initiated legal action against Tesla Power India Pvt. Ltd., accusing them of trademark infringement. The lawsuit, filed in the Delhi High Court, has resulted in Tesla Power being restrained from using the ‘Tesla’ brand in electric vehicle-related advertisements.
