Today, On 23rd August, The Supreme Court criticized the repeated detention of YouTuber Savukku Shankar under the TN Goondas Act by the Tamil Nadu government. A notice to the State was issued swiftly, following arguments from Shankar’s mother’s advocates. The detention orders were deemed absurd and illegal, with the case scheduled for a hearing on August 27.
