Today, On 7th January, The Supreme Court dismissed a plea seeking a court-monitored probe into the alleged CLAT 2026 paper leak, questioning the petitioner’s delay and asking why the complaint was filed on December 16 despite claims of a leak on December 6.
The Madras High Court Today (Oct 25) directed social media platform Telegram to immediately block and delete any posts or “chatbots” flagged by insurance company Star Health Insurance for leaking its customer data that was hacked recently. The Court was hearing a petition filed by Star Health against Telegram and five others after it discovered that a hacker was using Telegram to leak sensitive company and customer data.
Star Health, a major Indian insurance provider, has filed a lawsuit against Telegram, a hacker, and Cloudflare after the personal data of 31 million customers was leaked via chatbots. A Tamil Nadu court has issued an injunction to block the sharing of this data, with a hearing scheduled for October 25.
