Today, On 12th January, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary, calling him “India’s greatest international ambassador of culture and philosophy.” He said Vivekananda’s visionary teachings are full of moral values and inspire the nation.
Chief Justice of India, Sanjeev Khanna, Today (Jan 15) inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by the Supreme Court Bar Association and Indian Red Cross Society on National Youth Day to honor Swami Vivekananda. Highlighting the judiciary’s role in societal welfare, he called the initiative a testament to community spirit. Lawyers, advocates, and Supreme Court staff participated, with the donated blood aimed at saving lives in critical emergencies.
Attorney General R. Venkataramani, speaking on Constitution Day, urged citizens to safeguard constitutional values, emphasizing the need for harmony between rights and restrictions. He highlighted the Constitution as a symbol of shared resources and called for reforms in the justice system to support marginalized communities, stressing the importance of balanced governance.
Today, the Chief Justice of India, Shri D. Y. Chandrachud, visited Belur Math in West Bengal. Established in 1897, the Math is a significant spiritual and pilgrimage center, reflecting Swami Vivekananda’s vision of religious harmony. He also attended the bicentenary celebration of the Bar Library Club of the Calcutta High Court.
