Today, On 5th August, The Delhi High Court deemed the deaths of 14 inmates at Asha Kiran shelter home a “strange coincidence” and ordered an inspection by the social welfare secretary. It also directed water testing and requested a comprehensive report. The court emphasized the need for curative measures and scheduled the next hearing for August 7.
