KOLKATA: Today(20th Jan): The court has sentenced Sanjoy Roy to life imprisonment. Sanjay Roy, a 33-year-old former civic volunteer with the Kolkata Police, was convicted for the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
