Today, 8th April,The Gujarat HC dismissed pleas by two Sabarmati Ashram residents challenging compensation in the redevelopment project, citing lack of evidence for a hidden fourth option. The residents initially chose cash compensation but failed to vacate on time and then sought a halt to demolition. The court upheld their initial choice.
