NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with other party leaders, for allegedly breaking rules under the Public Property Act. The case is currently being heard in Rouse Avenue Court, and the next hearing is set for April 18. The FIR was filed after a directive from a Delhi court, which instructed the police to take legal action based on a complaint made by Shiv Kumar Saxena.
Today, On 18th March, In the ongoing Saxena vs. Kejriwal case, the police have not yet filed the compliance report and have now sought certified copies of the complaint and FIR plea. Authorities require these documents to proceed with the investigation and legal process. The delay has raised concerns over the progress of the case. Further action will depend on the court’s decision regarding the pending requests.

New Delhi– The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has allowed Christian Michel James, an accused in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal case, to apply for a new passport. This direction was issued to the jail authorities on Tuesday to help Michel fulfil the bail conditions set by the court.

NEW DELHI: The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has given the Delhi Police 60 more days to complete their investigation in the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) case against former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Naresh Balyan. The police had requested 90 days, but the court only approved a 60-day extension.
NEW DELHI: AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has been granted anticipatory bail by a Rouse Avenue court, on Tuesday (25th Feb) in a case related to obstructing police officials during an arrest. Special Judge Jitendra Singh had earlier given Amanatullah Khan protection from arrest until Monday, which was later extended for one more day. The case involves allegations that Khan obstructed police personnel who were trying to arrest Shahwez Khan, an alleged proclaimed offender.
