Today, On 9th July, The Karnataka High Court dismissed a PIL targeting BJP leaders and right-wing activists for alleged hate speech, citing its general nature and apparent ill intent. The court reprimanded the petitioner for inadequate disclosure and declined the request to adjourn the matter, emphasizing that such broad petitions cannot be entertained as Public Interest Litigation.
