Today, September 30, the Supreme Court is set to hear a case in which it has taken suo moto cognizance of the rape and murder of a junior doctor at the state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata last month. According to the cause list published on the court’s website, a three-judge bench led by Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud will continue hearing this suo moto case.
