The CBI informed the court that Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College, was willfully absent from the crime scene in the Kolkata doctor’s rape and murder case. Investigators suspect external influences on Ghosh’s actions, which hindered the investigation, raising concerns about a possible larger conspiracy involving him and police officer Abhijit Mondal.
