Kolkata: The RG Kar case, taken a new turn following the recent verdict. A group of lawyers and social activists has sent a letter to Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Sanjiv Khanna, urging a fresh investigation into the case. This request comes after key observations made by the judge of the Sealdah court during the trial.
Today, 7th April,The Delhi High Court (HC) scheduled Vaibhav Mishra’s plea for May 16, seeking a reinvestigation into his grandfather LN Mishra’s 1975 assassination. The plea will be heard alongside the convicts’ appeal, highlighting the complexity of the case. Mishra challenges mishandled investigation and seeks justice for the former Railway Minister’s murder.
