Today, On 29th October, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court reserved its decision in the CBI case against CEO Abhishek Gupta and five others, scheduling the next hearing for November 14. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court transferred the investigation into the deaths of three UPSC aspirants to the CBI, criticizing inadequate police investigations.
A Delhi court dismissed a plea by RAU’s IAS Study Circle for access to its premises where three students drowned in July. The judge reserved the ruling after hearing arguments from both parties. The CBI opposed access, raising safety concerns. The court also criticized the CBI for not releasing a vehicle involved in the incident. The case was transferred to the CBI from Delhi Police.
