In the IRCTC scam case, a Delhi court slammed Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Tejashwi Yadav, stating they “engaged in conspiracy and abused their position as public servants” while framing charges of corruption and criminal conspiracy.
Today, On 7th April, The Supreme Court has refused to hear the Enforcement Directorate’s plea against the bail granted to a close aide of Lalu Prasad Yadav. This case is linked to the alleged Railways land-for-jobs scam. The ED wanted to cancel the bail but the court did not agree. Now, the aide will continue to stay out on bail.
NEW DELHI: Today, 25th Feb, A Delhi court has asked former Union Rail Minister Lalu Prasad to appear in connection with the land-for-jobs case. Special Judge Vishal Gogne has also called Prasad’s son, former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav, and his daughter Hema Yadav to the court.
Today(on 6th August), The Enforcement Directorate has filed a supplementary charge sheet against former railway minister Lalu Prasad, his son Tejashwi Yadav, and eight others in the land-for-jobs scam. The charge sheet was presented to Special Judge Vishal Gogne, with further consideration scheduled for August 13.
Today, On 26th June, The Delhi High Court granted a six-week interim bail to Amit Katyal, a close aide of Lalu Prasad Yadav, due to health reasons in a land-for-jobs scam. The court acknowledged Katyal’s medical needs and ordered a medical board to assess his condition. The case involves allegations of exchanging land for employment in the Indian Railways.
Today, 7th April,The Delhi High Court (HC) scheduled Vaibhav Mishra’s plea for May 16, seeking a reinvestigation into his grandfather LN Mishra’s 1975 assassination.
