The Calcutta High Court has directed Kolkata Metro authorities on 2nd May to reconsider extending the last train timings by 45 minutes in response to a public interest litigation. The court recognized the need to address commuter needs and improve accessibility, urging the authorities to review the request and respond within four weeks.
