Additionally, allegations have been made against the grandfather for tampering with evidence. Bail was initially granted to the teenager, but public outcry led to an extension of his remand. The police also requested an extension of the parents’ custody. Doctors and a hospital employee were arrested for allegedly replacing the minor’s blood samples to show he was not intoxicated, with one doctor allegedly in contact with the teen’s father. The mother was arrested for conspiracy, and the court extended the custody of the doctors and the hospital employee until June 7.
