Today, On 10th February, The Supreme Court once again postponed the hearing on the case related to primary job aspirants, leaving their future uncertain. Many candidates are waiting for a final decision on their recruitment. The delay added to their frustration and anxiety. The next hearing is scheduled to take place after two weeks.
On Thursday( 18th July), The Calcutta High Court, led by Justice Amrita Sinha, has directed the primary education board to provide training for teachers who passed the TET in 2014 within the current academic year. This ruling allows these teachers to enroll in the Diploma in Elementary Education (DLed) course to meet professional qualifications.
Former President of the Primary Education Board and MLA, Manik Bhattacharya’s bail application was referred back to the Calcutta High Court by the Supreme Court bench led by Justice Bela Trivedi. The Enforcement Directorate did not object, indicating willingness to proceed in the High Court. Allegations involve a corruption case related to primary teacher recruitment.
