The Kerala government has approached the Supreme Court, challenging the Governor’s delays in approving state bills. Citing constitutional violations, they seek clarification on the Governor’s authority. Notably, the court is urged to set clear guidelines on when a Governor can refuse assent or refer bills to the President, amid concerns over prolonged pending legislation.
