Bareilly (UP): Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, was scheduled to appear before a district court in Bareilly on Tuesday (7th Jan) regarding a case linked to his remarks on economic reservation. However, he did not attend the hearing.
A local court in Bareilly summoned Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to appear on January 7 regarding his comments during the Lok Sabha elections. The summons came after a plea from Pankaj Pathak, alleging that Gandhi’s remarks aimed to incite class hatred for political gain. Gandhi also staged a protest against Amit Shah’s remarks on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
