Bihar voter Minta Devi, listed as 124 years old, slammed Opposition MPs, questioning voter list errors and asking why the government hasn’t given her old age pension.
Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar recently stated in the House that an impeachment notice against Allahabad High Court Judge Justice Shekhar Yadav, submitted by Opposition MPs in December last year, is still pending with him. He emphasized that only Parliament has the constitutional authority to remove a High Court judge.
Today, On 12th December, Trinamool MP Sagarika Ghose filed a privilege motion against Minister Kiren Rijiju for insulting opposition members by calling them “unworthy.” This sparked outrage among opposition leaders, with 60 MPs from the INDIA bloc supporting the motion. Ghose emphasized the need for accountability and demanded Rijiju’s apology.
