The Bombay High Court directed the Maharashtra government to provide detailed information on budgetary allocations for medical infrastructure and staffing vacancies in government hospitals. This comes in response to concerns over increased deaths at hospitals due to underfunding and unfilled positions. A hearing is set for January 29.
