A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking the admission of Rohingya refugee children in local schools. The petition argues that these children should be allowed access to education as part of their basic rights. It highlights the importance of providing them with opportunities for a better future. The case is currently being reviewed by the court.
Today (May 23rd): The Delhi High Court concluded a PIL regarding medicine shortage at the Rajan Babu Institute of Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis. The court was assured that current stock would last and more supplies were on the way. The Central Government and Delhi State Health Mission detailed current drug stock and future supply. NGO Social Jurist filed the PIL earlier this year.
