The CBI arrested a first-year MBBS student from RIMS Ranchi and four medical students from AIIMS Patna in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case. Furthermore, two more individuals were detained. The NEET-UG exam faced cheating allegations, leading to protests and legal actions, prompting the postponement of the NEET-PG 2024 examination.
Today, On 18th July, The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested four AIIMS Patna students for involvement in the NEET-UG paper leak. They were part of a ‘solver module’ that manipulated the exam process. The arrests followed the apprehension of a key suspect, bringing the total detainees to 18. The CBI is conducting a comprehensive investigation into the irregularities.
