Supreme Court Judge Justice Vikram Nath has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of NALSA, succeeding Justice Surya Kant. He will oversee legal aid services and the nationwide mission to provide free justice to the underprivileged.

NEW DELHI: Two senior judges of the Supreme Court of India, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Surya Kant, have traveled to Kenya to discuss issues related to justice delivery with their counterparts. They will be attending a week-long judicial event from March 7 to March 15 in Kenya.

The Supreme Court mandated measures such as exclusive CMPO appointments, public reporting portals, and fast-track courts to enhance enforcement, protect minors, and ultimately uphold children’s rights in India.
Justice Sanjeev Khanna has been nominated by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud as the next Chief Justice of India, set to assume office on November 10. Known for impactful rulings on constitutional law and human rights, Justice Khanna’s leadership is expected to enhance the Supreme Court’s commitment to justice and individual rights.
