Today, On 18th August, The Delhi High Court reserved its order on MP Er Rashid’s plea challenging the Rs.4 lakh expenses imposed for attending Parliament, observing, “This man has not even got his liberty back, expenses are for jail to incur.”
Today, On 12th August, The Delhi High Court has asked the Delhi Police to explain the travel expenses imposed on Jammu and Kashmir MP Engineer Rashid. The court wants clarity on the basis of the calculations mentioned in the police communication.
Today, On 29th July, Delhi High Court told detained MP Engineer Rashid to go back to the original bench for bail modification, refusing to hear a fresh plea. Saying “Not happening today,” the Court posted the matter for hearing on July 31.

Advocate Narender Mann has been appointed as the Special Public Prosecutor for the trial of Tahawwur Rana, who is accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. With more than 30 years of experience in the legal field, Mann has managed numerous significant criminal cases, including those involving corruption and major scams. The Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed his appointment for a duration of three years or until the trial concludes, whichever is earlier. In this prominent case, Mann will represent the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
After a prolonged legal battle,the NIA has successfully extradited 26/11 Mumbai attacks accused Tahawwur Rana from the United States. He arrived in Delhi after a lengthy legal battle spanning several years. Upon landing at Palam Technical Airport, he was escorted under tight security. Rana will now face investigation and trial under charges including terrorism and waging war against India.
Senior advocate Dayan Krishnan will lead the prosecution of Tahawwur Rana in India for his role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Rana is accused of helping plan the attacks that killed over 160 people in 2008. He is currently in the United States, but India is working to bring him here through extradition. This move is an important step in getting justice for the victims of the attacks.
