Today 4th April A Mumbai court directed police to investigate influencer Sapna Gill’s molestation accusations against cricketer Prithvi Shaw, but CCTV footage and witness statements contradicted her claims. Police found the accusations baseless. Gill was later arrested for allegedly attacking Shaw after a dispute over taking selfies at a hotel in February 2023.

The court criticized the trend of seeking solutions from tantriks/babas and emphasized the exploitation and abuse that often accompanies such practices, calling it a “bizarre case of blind faith.” The prosecution’s evidence solidly proved the accused’s sexual assault on the victims.
