“Why Are You Harassing Students? You Are State. Don’t Make it an Ego Issue”: SC Restrains Karnataka from Declaring Results of Half-yearly Exams of Classes 8 to 10

The Supreme Court today (21st Oct) has criticized the Karnataka government for “harassing” students by conducting board examinations for classes 8 to 10, prohibiting the declaration of results until further notice. This follows the withdrawal of a circular for board exams in several rural districts, while exams proceeded in others. The court seeks detailed examination process information within four weeks.
