Arvind Kejriwal again skipped a Sonipat court hearing over his viral statement on Yamuna water. He allegedly said, “The Haryana government has mixed poison in the water of the Yamuna River.”
Sonipat, Haryana: A court in Sonipat has scheduled the next hearing for tomorrow i.e March 20 in a criminal case filed by the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) against Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener. The case is related to his statement calling Yamuna water poisonous and accusing the Haryana government of supplying unsafe water to Delhi.
The Jharkhand High Court has temporarily stayed a law requiring 75% reservation for local candidates in private-sector jobs with salaries up to Rs 40,000. The petition, filed by the Jharkhand Small Scale Industries Association, claims the law violates equality principles. The next hearing is scheduled for March 20.
