In a farewell event, he stated that not every issue requires a formal judgment and that intervention is essential for speedy problem resolution. Justice Patel also shared plans for retirement, expressing disinterest in spending an entire day in arbitrations and highlighting the need to educate law students on fundamental legal subjects due to recent observations with court clerks.
Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud visited Sri Venkateswara Vedic University in Tirupati, emphasizing the importance of digitizing ancient manuscripts. He commended SVVU and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams for their joint efforts in the ‘Palm Leaf Edicts Digitization Project’ to preserve and make accessible this wealth of knowledge for future generations.
