Popular stand-up comedian and actor Anubhav Singh Bassi’s shows in Lucknow were cancelled by the police due to concerns about law and order. The cancellation happened after the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission sent a letter to the police, asking them to ensure that his performances do not “malign women.”
