The case involves allegations of irregularities during Lalu Yadav’s tenure as Railway Minister. The Enforcement Directorate accused Katyal of acquiring land from job seekers on behalf of Lalu Prasad.
Today, On 26th June, The Delhi High Court granted a six-week interim bail to Amit Katyal, a close aide of Lalu Prasad Yadav, due to health reasons in a land-for-jobs scam. The court acknowledged Katyal’s medical needs and ordered a medical board to assess his condition. The case involves allegations of exchanging land for employment in the Indian Railways.
