Today, On 23rd July, The Delhi High Court ordered a CBI probe into the death of Faizan, a 23-year-old man who was allegedly beaten by Delhi Police during the 2020 Delhi riots. This decision came in response to a petition from Faizan’s mother, who claimed that her son was illegally detained and denied medical care, leading to his death.
