Today, On 12th June, A 17-year-old boy’s remand extended by the Juvenile Justice Board till June 25 in connection with a fatal car crash in Pune. The incident, involving a Porsche allegedly driven by the teen, resulted in the deaths of two IT engineers. The boy’s parents are also in custody for tampering with his blood samples. Several arrests have been made related to serving alcohol to the minor.

The police reported that the mother’s blood samples were used to replace the teenager’s after the accident. Multiple individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, including those accused of serving alcohol to the juvenile. Additionally, allegations have been made against the grandfather for tampering with evidence. Bail was initially granted to the teenager, but public outcry led to an extension of his remand. The police also requested an extension of the parents’ custody. Doctors and a hospital employee were arrested for allegedly replacing the minor’s blood samples to show he was not intoxicated, with one doctor allegedly in contact with the teen’s father. The mother was arrested for conspiracy, and the court extended the custody of the doctors and the hospital employee until June 7.
