An MP-MLA court has directed today Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to appear on July 2 for a defamation case involving alleged objectionable remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The case, initiated by BJP leader Vijay Mishra in 2018, stems from remarks made during Gandhi’s “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” in Amethi. Gandhi had been granted bail earlier in the case.
