[Excise Policy Case] Delhi Court Allows Arvind Kejriwal’s Plea to be Produced Before Court Virtually on July 12

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court allowed Arvind Kejriwal to appear virtually on July 12 in response to an Enforcement Directorate chargesheet against him and the Aam Aadmi Party related to liquor policy manipulation. Kejriwal was previously arrested for the “liquor scam” and is accused of money laundering during the 2022 Goa Assembly elections.

[Excise Policy Case] Court Takes Cognisance of ED’s Chargesheet Against Arvind Kejriwal, AAP

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja today has issued a production warrant summoning Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP to appear in court on July 12, 2024, in relation to the alleged money laundering connected to the excise policy case. The court has also taken cognizance of the supplementary chargesheet against Vinod Chauhan, scheduling his appearance on the same date.
