NEW DELHI: Two senior judges of the Supreme Court of India, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Surya Kant, have traveled to Kenya to discuss issues related to justice delivery with their counterparts. They will be attending a week-long judicial event from March 7 to March 15 in Kenya.
Justice Rajesh Bindal, born on April 16, 1961, in Ambala, Haryana, assumed office as a Supreme Court judge on February 13, 2023. He previously served at the Punjab & Haryana High Court, Jammu & Kashmir High Court, and Calcutta High Court, and as Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court. He will retire on April 15, 2027, after a distinguished career.
Supreme Court Justice BR Gavai emphasized the persisting economic and social inequality in India despite political equality.
