CHENNAI: Today, 24th Feb, The Madras High Court has refused to stop Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore from organizing its Maha Shivaratri celebrations on February 26 and 27, 2025. A division bench comprising Justices SM Subramaniam and K Rajasekar dismissed a petition that sought restrictions on the event due to concerns about noise pollution and sewage disposal.
Today, On 30th September, the Madras High Court requested the Tamil Nadu government to provide details on criminal cases against Isha Foundation, led by Jaggi Vasudev. The court expressed concerns about Vasudev’s apparent hypocrisy in promoting renunciation while securing a settled life for his own daughter, amidst allegations of misconduct against the Foundation.
