The Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh (BCUP) is a statutory authority established under the Advocates Act, 1961. It oversees the regulation of the legal profession in Uttar Pradesh and serves as the representative body for practicing advocates within the Bar Council of India. Currently, the BCUP has more than 100,000 enrolled advocates.
